Edith (Edi) Marusiak Remaklus

Edith Remaklus began her professional career at one of the “Big Eight” public accounting firms, Coopers & Lybrand, after graduating from Arizona State University in 1975. She graduated (Summa Cum Laude) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Having worked for Coopers & Lybrand for three years auditing small to medium sized companies in Arizona and California and spending time in their tax department, Edi ultimately received her Certified Public Accounting certificate in 1978 and became a member of the Arizona Certified Accounting Association. Edi has also taught accounting at Mesa Community College and worked in various accounting positions for ITT Courier, Intel, and Ramada Inn before coming to work at Micro-Tronics, Inc. In 1982, Edi came on board at Micro-Tronics, bringing her knowledge and experience to the company.
Edi is committed to education. She served on Hopi Grade School, Arcadia High School and Notre Dame College Prep School Boards.
Active in her community, Edi has been a volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale for over 25 years. She was the president of their Auxiliary, served on the Board of Governors for over 10 years, and has recently accepted a trustee position on their foundation. She has been involved in various other charities, most notably the Back to School Clothing Drive, Shoebox Ministry, Crisis Pregnancy Center, Joe Foss Institute and the Banner Health fundraiser.
Edi has been married since 1984. Both she and her husband enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, golfing, and are avid readers.
