When founder, John Marusiak
Jr. first read about Electrical Discharge Machining in 1955, he knew it was the
future for manufacturing. A retired Air Force fighter and test pilot with
plenty of energy - John, along with his wife - Angie, incorporated
Micro-Tronics in December of 1968. Initially running machines during the
morning, visiting customers and making deliveries in the afternoon, John
nurtured Micro-Tronics' growth in specialized
machining
Over the years, their
dedication, drive and customer emphasis evolved Micro-Tronics into
one of the finest advanced high
technology precision machine shops in the Southwest.
MTI combines these
capabilities by also manufacturing complex assemblies consisting of rubber
and/or composite materials bonded to machined hardware.
Over the course of time,
John and Angie's children have joined their parents and expanded the operations
to include not only Conventional EDM, but computerized Wire EDM, CNC EDM,
Rubber Molding, and Production Machining in an impressive and clean
multi-building campus in Tempe, Arizona. The latest growth oriented step
forward is the opening of our newest building, adding an additional 17,000
square feet of work area, in fall of 2008. An additional building will be
raised on an adjacent lot, which will bring the total square footage to over
100,000 square feet.
On April 19, 2000 - John
Marusiak officially stepped down as President and C.E.O. of Micro-Tronics. We
thank John for his unselfish, tireless efforts that built Micro-Tronics into
the successful company it has become. He will remain as a consultant for an
indefinite period of time. The board of directors elected Robert, "Bob"
Marusiak as the new C.E.O.
Photographs only show you a
small part of our facilities and capabilities. What they don't adequately show
is the pride we take in our ability to master difficult projects and our
commitment to quality. We think our record speaks for itself - customers keep
coming back to us with their toughest problems to solve.
